The Old & The New
The Old & The New is a project which communicates some of the more positive attributes of the sustainable fashion industry today. The publication presents itself in the format of an A2 magazine. The context interprets the representation of both vintage and sustainable apparel in the industry. It discusses where to go to consume good quality apparel and the general consensus projected by the pro sustainable designers.
Graphic design was introduced into the equation by comparing the design structure of vintage fashion publications such as 'Queen' and current fashion publications on the market today such as 'Pigeons and Peacocks', focusing specifically on the comparison of typography.
